Best social media management tools for UAE brands (2026)
ยท Guides
Eight social media tools compared for UAE brands: starting prices checked 23 October 2026, networks, approvals, Gulf calendars and who each one suits.
The best tool depends on your team size, the networks you publish to and how much sign-off you need, but for most UAE brands the choice comes down to eight products. Hootsuite and Sprout Social suit larger teams that want deep inbox and reporting tools and can pay per seat. Buffer, Later and Metricool suit small teams on a tight budget, Agorapulse and Planable suit teams built around an inbox or around approvals, and Wisp, which we make, suits Gulf brands that want named approvals and a UAE and KSA calendar. Starting prices below were read from each vendor's own pricing page on 23 October 2026.
How this guide was made. Waggle makes Wisp, so we have a stake in this list, and we say where Wisp falls short. For every other tool we read the plan names, the starting monthly price in US dollars and the listed networks from the vendor's own pricing page on 23 October 2026, and we wrote our own summary instead of copying their marketing text. Where a page did not print a figure we say so. Prices change often, and Hootsuite and Planable both note that the prices they display exclude applicable taxes, so confirm the current figure and ask how UAE VAT appears on your invoice.
Arabic and bilingual content. Most UAE brands publish in English and Arabic, so judge a tool on how it handles both. None of the competitor pricing pages we read mentioned Arabic support, and we did not test it, so treat it as something to check yourself. During any trial, paste a real Arabic caption and a mixed Arabic and English caption into the composer, look at the preview and schedule one. Whichever tool you choose, keep a native Arabic reader in the approval step.
Local holidays and the working week. The UAE weekend is Saturday and Sunday, Saudi Arabia's is Friday and Saturday, and Ramadan, Eid, National Day and White Friday all change what you should post and when. Ask whether the calendar already knows UAE and KSA public moments or whether your team must add each one by hand, and whether you can schedule in Asia/Dubai and Asia/Riyadh time without doing the clock maths yourself. None of the competitor pages we read mentioned a UAE or KSA holiday calendar, so ask during the trial.
Approvals. If a brand manager, legal team or agency client signs off before a post goes live, look for named approvers, more than one stage and a record of who approved what. Vendors place approvals differently. Hootsuite's page puts reviewing and approving content on its Advanced plan, Buffer lists approval workflows on its Team plan, Metricool lists a post approval system on its Advanced plan, and Planable describes required approvals on Pro and multi-level approvals on Enterprise. Agorapulse's page puts multi-step approval workflows on its Custom tier. Wisp includes approvals from Pro and multi-stage approvals on Growth and Agency.
The networks you use. List the networks you publish to and check each one against the vendor's current list, because coverage differs by product and sometimes by plan. Seven of the eight tools here list Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn on their pages, and Hootsuite's plans page gives Instagram, X and Facebook Pages as examples without a full list. TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and X vary. Snapchat matters to many Gulf audiences, and of the competitor pages we read only Later's listed it, while Wisp's Snapchat support is in review. X needs an add-on at Metricool and is not available yet in Wisp.
Support and WhatsApp. Ask where support sits and how you reach it, because a scheduled post that goes wrong on a Friday evening in Dubai needs an answer in your time zone. We did not verify support hours or channels for the other tools. Wisp has a Dubai team and WhatsApp support. Whichever tool you trial, send one real support question in the first week and note how long the reply takes.
Price in US dollars, and what you are charged for. Starting prices look alike and count different things. Hootsuite, Sprout Social and Agorapulse charge per user. Buffer charges per channel. Later sells bundles of profiles called social sets. Metricool prices by the number of brands. Planable prices per workspace. Wisp prices a workspace on four plans. Before you compare, write down how many people, accounts and brands you have today and expect in a year, then price each tool for that team instead of for the cheapest plan on the page.
Hootsuite. The plans are Standard, Professional, Advanced and a custom Enterprise tier. The page says paid plans start at $99 per user per month for Standard, $199 for Professional and go up to $399 for Advanced, with prices based on annual billing (checked 23 October 2026). Standard manages up to 10 social accounts, Professional and above manage unlimited accounts, and the trial is 14 days with no card. Strengths: one dashboard for publishing, an inbox, competitor benchmarking and listening. Limits: cost grows with every seat, approvals sit on Advanced, and the plans page prints no full network list, so confirm your networks.
Sprout Social. Essentials is $79 per seat per month on annual billing, or $99 billed monthly, with 5 social profiles. Standard is $199, Professional $299 and Advanced $399 per seat per month, and Enterprise is custom (checked 23 October 2026). The trial is 30 days with no card. The integrations listed are Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest and TikTok. Strengths: a consolidated inbox, review management and reporting, with competitor and paid insights from Professional. Limits: per-seat prices add up quickly for a team, and Essentials and Standard are capped at 5 profiles.
Agorapulse. Standard is $79 per user per month on annual billing, or $99 billed monthly, and includes 10 social profiles. Professional is $119 annual or $149 monthly, Advanced is $149 or $199, and Custom is tailored with unlimited profiles (checked 23 October 2026). The trial is 30 days with no card. Listed networks include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Google Business. Strengths: a shared inbox on every plan, assignments from Professional, and saved replies, moderation rules and shared calendars on Advanced. Limits: pricing is per user, and multi-step approvals are listed on the Custom tier.
Planable. Basic is $33 per workspace per month with 4 social pages and 60 posts per workspace per month, and Pro is $49 with 10 social pages and 150 posts, both with unlimited users (checked 23 October 2026). Enterprise is custom. There is no permanent free plan; the trial is 50 posts with no card and no time limit. Listed networks include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Google Business Profile and X. Strengths: approvals are the core of the product, and unlimited users suit teams with many reviewers. Limits: monthly post caps per workspace, and the inbox and analytics are paid add-ons.
Buffer. There is a free plan with up to 3 channels and 1 user. Essentials is $5 per channel per month and Team is $10 per channel per month with unlimited team members, both with a 14-day free trial (checked 23 October 2026). The page lists 12 networks, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, X and Google Business Profile. Strengths: simple to learn, a low entry price for a few channels and a wide network list. Limits: because you pay per channel, a brand with many accounts costs more, and approval workflows appear on the Team plan's feature list.
Later. Starter is $18.75 a month billed yearly for 1 social set of 8 profiles and 1 user, Growth is $37.50 for 2 social sets and 2 users, and Scale is $82.50 for 6 social sets and 4 users, each with a 14-day free trial (checked 23 October 2026). The page lists Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Snapchat. Strengths: plans sized around brands and profiles, collaboration and approvals features on its page, and Snapchat support, which no other competitor page here listed. Limits: the page showed only the yearly-billed prices, so ask for the monthly rate, and each plan caps the number of users.
Metricool. There is a free plan for 1 brand. Starter begins at $20 a month on annual billing, or $25 billed monthly, for up to 5 brands, and Advanced begins at $53 a month annual, or $67 monthly, for up to 15 brands (checked 23 October 2026). Advanced lists team and client management, role management and a post approval system. The page lists Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, X, Bluesky, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Twitch and web or blog publishing, with X needing an add-on and LinkedIn not on the free plan. Strengths: a low price per brand and a free tier. Limits: we did not find a free trial or a seat limit stated on the page we read.
Wisp. Creator is $29 a month, Pro $79, Growth $249 and Agency $499, and annual billing is 12% lower (checked 23 October 2026). Creator and Pro open with a 7-day trial, with a card at checkout. Wisp plans posts, drafts captions and images in your brand's voice using metered credits, sends each draft to a named approver and publishes only to the exact account you chose. Nothing auto-publishes. The calendar carries UAE and KSA holidays and weekends, one post can go to 2 to 10 accounts at once, Instagram comments and DMs sit in one inbox, and the same workspace runs inside a ChatGPT app listed as Wisp by Waggle with the same approval gates. Roles, approvals and Brand Kit start on Pro, and multi-stage approvals and pooled usage are on Growth and Agency.
Where Wisp falls short. It is a younger product with fewer channels than the big suites. Today there is no X, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads or Bluesky. Snapchat is in review, new TikTok accounts post privately until TikTok finishes reviewing the app, and LinkedIn Company Pages open as LinkedIn extends access. If your plan depends on those networks, a larger suite is the safer choice today.
How to choose in an afternoon. Write down your networks, your team size, whether you need sign-off and how many brands you run. Cross out any tool that does not cover your networks. Price the rest for your real team, not the cheapest plan. Then open trials for two or three tools, schedule the same week of real posts in each, include one Arabic post and one mixed-language post, run one post through approval and send one support question. Pick the one your team found easiest to use by the end of the week.
A short summary. For a large team that wants listening, benchmarking and many accounts, look first at Hootsuite or Sprout Social. For one marketer or a few channels on a small budget, look at Buffer, Later or Metricool. For an inbox-led team, look at Agorapulse. For approval-led agencies and client review, look at Planable. For a Gulf brand that wants a UAE and KSA calendar, named approvals and a Dubai team on WhatsApp, and can accept fewer networks today, try Wisp. Our comparison pages and pricing page have the detail.
